Magnus has led Ansell as CEO for the last 11 years and will in the next month hand over to his successor, Neil Salmon. Under Magnus’s leadership, Ansell has been thoroughly transformed into a focused safety company with fully integrated innovation, manufacturing and global sales. Sales have doubled, EBIT increased threefold, while shareholders have seen an average annual TSR of more than 14 per cent.

As market leaders positioned at the heart of the safety products industry, Magnus provides us with a unique perspective into the challenges that Ansell faced and overcame as the COVID-19 pandemic placed unprecedented pressure on the global demand for protective equipment and apparel. Prior to his role at Ansell, Magnus was President, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific of Newell Rubbermaid Inc. and Chief Executive Officer of Esselte which he took private with a PE sponsor. He also held senior management positions with Bayer AG, Pitney Bowes and McKinsey & Company.
